Realm of The Mad God (ROTMG)

YOLO is the motto to this game (you only live once). This game is so addicting and fun to play that it is irresistible not to stop. Realm of the Mad God is an MMO (massive multi-player online) game where you can team up with dozens of players to take down the enemies and the Mad God which is the ultimate foe. It is the first free to play bullet hell MMO game ever made according to the developers of the game. Basically the motive in the game is to earn as much fame and acquire better equips for his character in order to defeat the Gods and enemies of the game. There are about 150K people that play the game daily.

Having been introduced to this game by my awesome roommate Zach, I was hesitant to play it and at first I thought it was going to be lame. I didn't play it for the longest time until somebody that I had beef with from another game told me that they will help me begin with good gear. It made me incredibly happy to see how foolish he was to trust me. I had the biggest smirk on my face. I even made an expletive name in Spanish to top it off but eventually I would be the one to get my butt handed to me with it. What happened next to me was something I would never forget.

The 8-bit graphics didn't appeal much to me because I was used to playing games on high powered consoles with mesmerizing graphics. The music was annoying as hell with its repetitive nature. What got me hooked was the game play and the overall community of people playing this game. The game is easy to pick up and play. No need to spam keys like crazy. You use your mouse and a few keys on the keyboard to play the game. A drawback to the game play is perma-death. When your character dies, you will permanently lose him forever and whatever you had on. It is very sad and sometimes frustrating but this is what helps the game be unique and somewhat fun. A wizard is what you start with but as you gain levels and fame up, you will unlock more characters such as a knight, archer, etc. More than a dozen characters are playable.

While I was playing with my roommate he introduced me to his own guild which is a team of people. The Purple Pigs is what he called his guild. He added me and then I befriended many other people. I instantly made friends in the game and since from there I became more of a casual player of the game. And now after playing for about half a year, I think I am very decent. I have a character that is top 150 in the world in his category. I am a leader now and the Purple Pigs was top 100 in the world recently. 

Although it is free to play, in order to have more space for your stuff or play as more characters other than than the free slot that you have, you will need to purchase in game gold which you have to do with real money. It sucks but this is the way that the developers will get money and improve the game (supposedly from the lag spikes and the hacker stuff). 

I enjoy this game very much and hope that anyone else will enjoy it as much as I do too. It is a very good time waster and I have met amazing and fun people because of it.

Serial Killers and Mafia In Old School Pilgrim Style

Have you ever played a game with a few friends sitting around the living room called Mafia where you participated in an investigation together to figure out who are the killers? Well now it's time to bring back those memories with a new online game called Town of Salem. The setting of the game is the pilgrim times back in the 1600's or whenever they came here to the Americas. The objective is to either stay alive and bring to justice those who are the mafia and serial killer or stay alive and help choose who your next victim is going to be as mafia. This game is an online flash game where you can play with as much as 15 people at a time. 

It is very simple to sign-up for, all you need is your email and bam! It is in beta mode which means it hasn't really been officially created but you can still do a variety of things. As soon as you sign up for it, it will ask for a donation to help the game further the development but you can just click out of that pop-up. As you enter into the game you can check out the neat things that you can do to your customize your pilgrim such as giving him a different look or having a pet. All of the customization requires gold which you can slowly gain through playing a lot or using a credit card to purchase the gold. But there is no purchases required in order to play the game. You can invite as many people as you like from your lobby if you have friends online. Once you are ready to play, another screen will open and this is the room where you will wait until it is full with 15 other players and in the mean time you can meet and greet them. 

After the wait is over and the game is about to start, their is a time limit where you anonymously choose whatever name you will like to be known for in the game so nobody will know your true identity from the room before. You can be known whatever you want, some people I saw while I played called themselves Justin Bieber, another person called themselves Big Booty Judy. You can have with it. 

When the game starts you will be given a job and nobody else will know except for you. The jobs for the characters are villager, jester, mafia, serial killer, etc. Your job description will be on the top right corner so you will need to meet your objectives in order to win the game and kill of the mafia and serial killer. The mafia work together in a group of 3 to kill off the others in the village. There is also the serial killer who is apart from the mafia who can kill whomever they choose so watch out. You can also write a will for everyone to read when you die. 

After someone dies in the night, you meet in the center of the town with the other players to decide who was guilty of the murder and find out who is the mafia and the serial killer. Sometimes people decide on innocent people to be hung but that is part of the plan for the bad guys. 

Aside from a few pop ups, this game appears and plays out very well. Very fun to play.

I Bet U Money To Anyone That They Can't Get Through This Your First Try

Are you bored out of your mind? Do you like games? Have you asked yourself what is there to do besides cleaning and doing your homework? If so this is the right place to pull up as soon as that boredness sinks in.  My name is Manny and I enjoy the school life but also when I feel like my head is spinning with homework or work, I pull out a game on my laptop or on my phone and start relaxing so I can rejuvenate my brain muscles to finish my homework.

So this quiz which is like a game is insanely crazy! It is a free to play game called the Impossible Quiz. I swear I will give a gift card to Walmart or something to the first person who shows me that they answer all their questions right on their first try. I don't want to give much away seeing how it is quiz but what I do want to say is that you really have to think outside of the box for the quiz. I couldn't even get passed the third question the first time I played it. I will help you on the first question because like it, most of it doesn't really make sense well to me anyways. The first question asks "How Many Holes Are In a Polo?" and it gives out four answers to choose from: One, Two, Three, or Four. My first thought was about sport water polo so I thought two but I was wrong. I guessed four the next try because maybe it was how many holes in a polo shirt and I got it right. The game gives you 3 strikes you're out approach and it wasn't enough for me because I tried so many more times after I was out the first time. The farthest I got to was to question 9. It frustrated me to the point that I gave up and I wanted to punch the laptop but this game is very fun when you get the answers correct. I will provide the link below to the game
